Payment for each lesson should be paid before the lesson. Failing to do so will result in no further tuition being given until all outstanding monies are received.
Payments can be made by bank transfer or cash
Cancellations / No Shows
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or change a lesson. Should you fail to give such notice you will be liable to pay the full tuition fee.
On arrival I will text to tell you I’m here, if you don’t show after 15 minutes of waiting I will leave and the lesson will still have to be paid for.
In the event of mechanical breakdown, illness or other difficulty outside of my control, I reserve the right to rearrange lessons at short notice. If the lesson cannot be arranged the same week the following lesson will be free
Drugs / Drink / Mobile Phones
My car is a no Smoking/Vaping area.
The use of mobile phones is not allowed on lessons whilst driving.
I can refuse to proceed with a lesson if I believe that you are in any way under the influence of drink or drugs. No refunds will be given if this is the case.
Driving Tests
Driving Tests may only be booked with the prior agreement of me and I reserve the right to withhold the use of my vehicle for a driving test if I feel you’re not ready / safe And will be a danger to the public or examiners
The price paid for the driving test fee to the DVSA does not include the use of the car for the test and any prior instruction. Therefore, current rates will apply for a 2-hour lesson.
License
You must have a valid provisional/full driving license to drive the vehicle.
You must tell me if you receive any points / restrictions on your licence whilst doing lessons
You must bring your license on all lessons In case of being pulled over by the police.
Responsibility
My car will be well maintained, clean and tidy. It is also fitted with dual-controls and properly insured as a driving instructor’s vehicle. Details of the policy can be made available on request.
Whilst in control of the car you will be responsible however as an instructor I may take control and use the dual controls or grab the steering wheel to avoid a collision, if this happens I will explain why I had to do this.
You will be responsible for any points / fines whilst driving the car. I will do my best to avoid this happening but as the driver you are responsible.
